It's tunic time....part six!

This tunic started out as a slim fitting men's shirt.  I loved the color and small checks.  If you notice in the before picture that the shirt is hanging from tree branches, it's because we were camping when I did this refashion.  Yes, I brought my sewing machine camping!  I have to admit, though, after years of tent camping, we now enjoy "glamping" in a travel trailer.

This tunic is probably the simplest one yet in my series, and the most comfortable!

A Mary Poppins Party

The women's organization of our church just celebrated their 175th anniversary!  To celebrate, we decided to throw a Mary Poppins-themed party.  We decided that there were many life lessons that could be learned from Mary Poppins in helping us to become "practically perfect in every way."

For the invitations, I downloaded an image from the internet and added the party details.  I would reference a source, but to be honest, this image is widely available and I can't remember which site I actually got it from.  I also made matching posters.
